Paul Graham’s Arc vs Paul Graham’s Continuation Patent

February 5, 2008 at 4:59 am (Uncategorized) (, , , , )

Not long ago, Paul Graham finally released his baby language, Arc, a dialect of Lisp.
If you haven’t know him, check out his site. You will know how he love Lisp.
Later, I stumbled at this discussion about why Paul (and Yahoo) patented continuation based web server concept, used in Seaside and Arc itself. Some worried about Paul himself will be tangled from making great web apps using Arc because Yahoo (and maybe Microsoft) can sue him on his own patented baby.

Oh, the irony
