Walking backward

July 5, 2007 at 10:58 am (Uncategorized) ()

This week I’ve been assigned a task that requires Java. A step backward for a person that wants to be away from cruft.
Being “Rails infected”, I tried to implement the DRY-ness of ActiveRecord, with little success. Oh, well.
Looking the bright side, this is the first time I code using TDD (JUnit). Not as good as the gurus out there, but it’s quite pleasure. For next task, using PHP, maybe I’ll use PHPUnit or Simpletest with Symfony framework.
Edit:Um, apparently symfony has its own test suite of choice.
That’s for now.
